Quantum Tempest

Book 4 in the Time Wing Six series!

An alien race needs help. Too bad they’re not very nice when asking you to lend a hand. And to ensure your pleasant cooperation, they will keep your body hostage while sending your “living essence” (or soul?) into the far future. They need the tools you’ll find there. The magical tools or “verges” needed to repair their failing Dyson swarm.

Thus, Daryle Chantree wakes within the mind of a large, intelligent feline somewhat resembling a snow leopard. And here, Daryle faces several problems. He can’t find his crewmates. He isn’t used to being … female. And, while he has never considered the possibility, he is pregnant and less than twelve weeks from bearing cubs.

The various “verges” can aid simple telepathy or support the high-power manipulation of time and reality. So what is a girl to do when a fellow crew member decides to use this new alien technology to enthrall the local population and walk as a god among them?

With every action rooted in maternal love, can Daryle save this distant civilization while also striking a balance between unity and individuality? Or does he have to decide on one way over the other before all is lost?
